Who this policy is from

This policy covers the Android application হাতেখড়ি (Hatekhori), package name com.runtimeloop.hatekhori, published on Google Play by RuntimeLoop, the developer account of Md Talal Wasim, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It applies to every version of the app distributed on Google Play.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, request, or receive any personal or personally identifiable information. Specifically, the app does not collect:

• names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses;
• photographs, audio recordings, video, contacts or files;
• location of any kind, precise or approximate;
• device identifiers, advertising IDs or IP addresses;
• usage analytics, crash reports or diagnostic data.

There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account. The app can be used fully without providing anything about yourself or your child.

The app works offline

হাতেখড়ি contains no networking code and does not request the INTERNET permission from Android. Every letter, illustration, and sound is included inside the app. The app works the same in aeroplane mode, and nothing a child does in it is ever sent anywhere.

Information stored on the device

The app saves your child's progress (which letters have been seen, traced and played) and the settings chosen in the Parent Zone, using Android's standard app storage. This information:

• stays on the device and is never uploaded by us;
• cannot be read by us or by any third party;
• contains no personal information, only letter identifiers, counts and settings;
• is deleted permanently when the app is uninstalled, or when you use "Reset progress" in the Parent Zone.

Permissions

The app requests no Android runtime permissions. It does not use the camera, the microphone, storage, contacts, or location.

The app's manifest declares <queries> entries, which let it check whether a web browser or email app is installed so the Parent Zone links described below can open. This is package visibility, not a permission, and it gives no access to any data.

Advertising and purchases

The app contains no advertising of any kind, no advertising SDKs, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no paywall. Nothing in the app tries to sell anything to a child.

Third-party services

The app includes no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting or social media SDKs. No third party receives any information from the app, because it sends none.

The app is distributed through Google Play. Google collects its own information about app installations under its own policy, which is outside our control and described at policies.google.com/privacy.

Links out of the app

The Parent Zone contains links to this privacy policy, to the app's Google Play page (to rate the app), and to our contact email address. These open in your browser, Google Play or mail app and pass no information from the app. They sit behind a parental gate (a simple arithmetic question) so a young child cannot reach them alone. There are no other links out of the app.

Children's privacy

হাতেখড়ি is designed for children aged three to six and follows Google Play's Families Policy. Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children. The app is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including its provisions on children.

No personal information is collected from a user of any age. As we hold nothing, there is nothing for a parent to request or delete from our side; uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on the device.

Data sharing and sale

We do not share, sell, rent or trade any information, because we hold none.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, for example because a future version of the app adds a feature that needs data, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed before that version is released. Any change to what is collected will also be shown in the app's Data Safety section on Google Play.
